Refund policy

At The Warm Craft, every item is designed and 3D-printed in-house. This policy explains your rights to cancel, return, or request a refund for orders placed on thewarmcraft.ie or thewarmcraft.com, in accordance with Irish and EU consumer protection law.

1. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Withdrawal Right)

If you are a consumer shopping from within the EU, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) as implemented in Ireland. This right applies to all products sold by The Warm Craft, including personalised and made-to-order items.

To exercise this right, simply contact us at hello@thewarmcraft.ie within 14 days of receiving your order, clearly stating that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. You may use the model withdrawal wording below, or simply write to us in your own words:

"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the purchase of the following goods: [order number / item], ordered on [date] and received on [date]."

2. Returning an Item

If you are returning an item under your withdrawal right:

The item must be returned in its original condition, unused, and where possible in its original packaging
You must send the item back to us within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item is faulty or was sent in error
We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit back to us

3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please note that your bank or card provider may take a few additional days to reflect the refund in your account.

If the returned item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish its nature or function, we may deduct an amount reflecting any diminished value from your refund, in accordance with consumer protection law.

4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or different from what you ordered, please contact us at hello@thewarmcraft.ie within a reasonable time of noticing the issue, ideally with a photo of the item and its packaging. In these cases:

We will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund, including any delivery costs
You will not be responsible for return shipping costs

This is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the EU/Irish legal guarantee described below.

5. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

As a consumer in the EU, you are entitled to a minimum 2-year legal guarantee that goods are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality, under the EU Sale of Goods Directive (2019/771) as implemented in Ireland. This guarantee is separate from, and in addition to, the 14-day withdrawal right and any returns process described above. If a product develops a fault within this period that was not caused by misuse, please contact us to discuss a repair, replacement, or refund.
